How can I get my product reviewed?
Do you have a really great product you would like us to test, taste, or try? If we had all the time in the world, we would take a look and play with every kitchen thingamabob we could find, but since we don’t send us a note at i[email protected] with what you want us to review and we’ll let you know if we can review the item and where you can send it. And to be clear, when we say we accept items for review with no strings attached, it means our reviews will always be as honest and straightforward as possible and will not take into consideration how we received the item.
We believe Umami is a great way for food related companies to communicate what they are doing to an informed and intelligent audience. To make sure there is no confusion, all sponsored content is labeled as sponsored content. What are these links I’m seeing on the site? Are they safe? The product links you see are ok to click on.
A part of what we’re trying to do at Umami is to make it easier for you to learn about and get great cooking and food related items. A part of how we do that and a part of how we keep the lights on is using a service called Skimlinks. Skimlinks allows us to embed links to the products we’re writing about in a way that makes it easy for our readers to click on the link and buy whatever we’re talking about. Our hope is this makes it easier for you to find the things you want.
In turn Umami does receive a small commission every time you buy something through a link on our site. This is a part of how we’re able to offer the site for free and it helps us make sure we have the resources we need to keep producing great content – so if you like us and like what we’re doing, please click on some links and buy stuff.
