2cupslong grain white rice
1-1/2cupschicken stock
1-1/2cupswater
1bay leaf
2tspbutter
1tspsalt
Instructions
Add the chicken stock, water, bay leaf, butter, and salt to a medium saucepan. Turn the heat on high and add the rice.
Once the liquid comes to a boil, give everything a good stir, cover with a tight-fitting lid, and turn the heat down to a low simmer.
Let the rice cook for 15 minutes. Once the rice has finished cooking, take it off the heat and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes, before removing the cover and giving it a good stir and fluffing it with a fork.
