Greyhound Cocktail
The greyhound is a simple, refreshing cocktail made with grapefruit juice and a little vodka or gin. The vodka version is smoother, while the gin version has more complex flavors.
Unlike most greyhound recipes, we recommend adding a 1/2 ounce of simple syrup because it helps balance the tartness in the grapefruit juice. The most important thing for making a good greyhound is to use the best grapefruit juice you can lay your hands on.
A few of our other favorite gin cocktails are the Aperol Negroni and Gin Rickey. If you’re looking for something unique to drink check out our 12 Classic Cocktails with a Twist.
