Tzatziki is a Greek yogurt sauce made with cucumber and garlic. Tzatziki is most commonly known as the sauce on Gyros but is great for lots of other things. It’s a wonderful appetizer with grilled pita and goes well with roasted or grilled chicken or lamb.

This Tzatziki recipe takes around 10 minutes to make and can be kept in the fridge for a couple of weeks. One of the keys to making Tzatziki delicious is to grate the whole cucumber, including the skin, which adds texture and color to the dish.

A couple of our other favorite Greek dishes that can be turned into a delicious dinner with some grilled pita and Tzatziki are Roasted Greek Chicken and Greek Farmer’s Salad.
