Maple Whipped Cream
Maple whipped cream is a nice way to add a subtle maple flavor to your desserts. This recipe only takes a few minutes to make and is delicious on cakes, crisps, pies, pancakes, and especially waffles.
Mixing real maple syrup and cream together highlights the sweetness in the maple syrup, without overpowering the cream or whatever the whipped cream is being served on.
This whipped cream can be made ahead of time and stored in a sealed container in the fridge.
A couple of dishes we like to serve with the whipped cream are Maple Cinnamon Bundt Cake and Persimmon Pudding.
Instructions
- In a mixer, combine the heavy cream, maple syrup, and cinnamon together and whisk on high speed until the whipped cream has reached it’s desired consistency.1 cup heavy cream, 1-1/2 tbsp real maple syrup, 1/4 tsp cinnamon
